Westerhill Developments recently announced a scheme to build a cinema, hotel, offices, healthcare facilities and a goods depot at the Westerhill Road site, in Bishopbriggs.

The land used to house a Shell-Mex petrol distribution centre, but has lain empty for more than 20 years - being labelled an eyesore by neighbouring householders.

The developers have now announced that they will be holding an exhibition outlining the plans as part of a public consulation prior to lodging an official planning application.

The exhibition will be held in Woodhill Evangelical Church, Wester Cleddens Road, on Wednesday, September 19, and Thursday, September 20, from 2pm-6.30pm.
