Cloning device used to steal cash from bank accounts

Hide AdOfficers were first called to an cash machine on Cumbernauld Road in Muirhead on the morning of Wednesday, August 28, after it had been reported that a false fitting had been placed over the machine.
It was found that a false facia had been placed over the card entry point.
Then on Thursday, August 29, a 28-year-old man from Chryston found that a three-figure sum of cash had been fraudulently withdrawn from his account.

Hide AdHe believes his card may have been cloned at an a cash machine in Blackwoods Crescent in Moodiesburn.
In a third incident, a woman from Chryston also withdrew money in Blackwoods Crescent and a three-figure sum of money vanished from her account.
The woman used the cash machine on Friday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1.
