Clydesdale groups receive over £10,000 worth of funding

SIX Clydesdale groups have secured a total of over £10,000 in funding from the 2014 Games National Lottery Awards Communities programme.

The biggest beneficiary is Lanark Primary School, which gets £2000 to install an assault course in a wooded area of their new school’s grounds.

Rigside Primary School is getting £1982 to provide a number of after school activities in various sports including swimming, football, basketball, badminton, rugby, athletics and golf.

The £1960 going to Carstairs Junction Primary School will be used to encourage physical activity among pupils.

Blackwood and Kirkton Primary Schools also received cash did Carluke Development Trust.
