Clydesdale’s Old Chinas Liz Munro and Ann Gracie walked the Great Wall

A DYNAMIC duo of Clydesdale ladies who swapped the golf course for the Great Wall have just returned from an epic trek in China.

The two, Liz Munro, from Lanark, and Ann Gracie, who lives in Carluke, successfully completed their sponsored 50 kilometre trek across a part of the Wall for St Andrew’s Hospice – raising more than £10,000 in the process.

And for the ladies, who are more at home hitting a few putts on the greens at Carluke Golf Club, it was an experience they will never forget.
