College is a highachiever
Cumbernauld College has been handed an excellent report from education watchdogs who conducted a thorough inspection of the premises in November.
Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education praised the college for its ‘‘high attaiment levels’’ - and singled out principal Martin McGuire and his management team for ‘‘effective and empowering leadership’’.
The inspectors stated that “learners were progressing well and achieving high quality outcomes’’ and singled out ‘‘high quality learning and teaching processes.’’
Students were ”well prepared for further study or employment’’.
