Comic book creations at Kirkhill

Primary six and seven students have been attending an after school comic book club for the past few months, and last week they invited family and friends to a showcase of their work.

Teacher Jenny Reid told The Extra that the event was well attended, and that parents, family members and carers were proud of the efforts put in by the school’s budding artists.

The children’s own caped crusaders and crime fighters will now go on display in the school library – with an added professional touch, as each comic has been laminated and bound for Kirkhill classes present and future to enjoy.
