Coming Home Centre is in the money!
East Renfrewshire’s MP, Kirsten Oswald recently took time out from her hectic parliamentary schedule to drop into the Coming Home Centre to present a cheque for £3500.
The centre, which opened in Govan in May, provides facilities for veterans to drop in, meet friends, learn new skills, and access useful advice and support.
Clubs run by the Bushido Karate Association throughout the district decided to support the centre by organising a number of sponsored events to raise funds to help those who will really benefit from their efforts.
