The centre, which opened in Govan in May, provides facilities for veterans to drop in, meet friends, learn new skills, and access useful advice and support.
Clubs run by the Bushido Karate Association throughout the district decided to support the centre by organising a number of sponsored events to raise funds to help those who will really benefit from their efforts.
