Community champs needed

Are you someone who understands the impact mental health stigma and discrimination can have on people's lives?

‘See Me’, the Scottish programme dedicated to addressing such issues, are currently seeking volunteer Community Champions across Scotland for a training programme in Perth starting in September.

Accommodation and travel expenses are provided to enable people to participate.

You will need to commit to attending three one-and-a-half days training on September 15-16, October 13-14 and November 17-18.

The Community Champions programme equips and empowers people who want to take action against mental health discrimination to be strong leaders in their local area. The programme aims to change behaviour in communities, by working with individuals to build their confidence and skills to challenge stigma and inspire others to do so.
