It also praised efforts by the partnership to improve communication and engagement with the community, through a series of events, activities and publications, including the first annual Glasgow CPP conference, first annual report and a series of stakeholder conversations.

Councillor Soryia Siddique, Glasgow City Council’s Executive Member for Citizens and Communities and Chair of Glasgow Community Planning Partnership, said: “Partners have been working hard to deliver joined-up services to people in the city and the feedback we’ve received from Audit Scotland is a tremendous boost for us.

People across Glasgow face many challenges that require tailored responses, but by working together, Community Planning partners are helping to make a real difference to them. We’re producing a range of initiatives that deliver imaginative and dynamic approaches that meet these challenges and take advantage of opportunities.”

Community Planning is a process that brings together the public, private, voluntary and third sectors for the benefit of residents. Partners jointly plan services to guarantee the most effective, co-ordinated delivery.
