Condorrat unites to demand action over state of roads

The community of Condorrat was united this week in questioning North Lanarkshire Council over the condition of road surfaces in the village.

Both the Condorrat Tenants and Residents Association and the Condorrat Community Council are dismayed at the council’s decision to carry out works between Rosehill Drive and Summerfield Road at the end of this month, while the Main Street in Condorrat lies in tatters with deep potholes, broken tarmac and damaged pavements.

Driver Craig Pearson, whose car was damaged, started a petition -and says he received hundreds of signatures.
