Cosgrove Care’s festive foodbank drive

Staff and service users decided to help families struggling to meet living costs by collecting donations for the new emergency food service.

Community fundraising officer Nicola Walsh said: “When we heard about the East Renfrewshire foodbank opening we knew that we could help to raise awareness of an ever-increasing issue affecting local families.

“I am overwhelmed by how generous people have been. We have since taken car-loads of donations — a total 352kg of food.”
