The Lanark Business Group, always on the lookout for novel ideas to boost town trade and attract visitors, is considering hiring a huge artificial waterslide to go down the street during a weekend in the late summer.
One of the last two weekends in August is likely to be chosen for the promotional event.
Details were discussed when the group helds its monthly meeting, along with other ideas to attract visitors to the town.
