THE Avenue is becoming the place to be if you want to catch a glimpse of famous authors, these days.

Next Wednesday three best-selling crime writers will appear at the venue to discuss their work and crime writing in Scotland.

The writers are former journalist Craig Robertson, Govan-born Caro Ramsay and Emmy award-winning American author and TV writer Michael J Malone.

The trio will be participating in a free Waterstone’s book event on April 2 at Primavera Bistro from 7pm until 8.30pm, having previously appeared at The Avenue for a crime night in November 2012.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “We’re delighted to welcome back this popular trio of crime writers to the centre and know that many of their fans will be in attendance to hear the inside story about their favourite fictional characters.”

Free tickets for the event are available at Waterstones and Primavera Bistro at The Avenue.
