Arrest after man masking face threatens Kirkintilloch bank staff

A 38-year-old man masking his face was arrested after threatening staff while he queued at a Kirkintilloch bank.

The incident happened around 11.45am at the Clydesdale Bank at Cowgate on Thursday, March 26.

East Dunbartonshire Police tweeted: “A male caused a disturbance in a bank on Cowgate making threats to staff with his face covered. Worrying inc for staff and customers who shut the premises when he made off. We found & arrested him soon after.”
