It has now emerged that specialist officers executed search warrants at two addresses on Dalriada Crescent and Jerviston Court last Thursday, (April 8).
Police have confirmed that two men who are 50 years-of-age and 37 years-of age and a 25-year-old woman have been charged in connection with human trafficking offences in the area.
They appeared at Hamilton Sherriff Court on Friday April 9.
A report has been submitted to the fiscal.
