Cumbernauld man has gone missing

Officers are trying to trace a man who has been missing from the Cumbernauld area since Tuesday 25 October

Paul Booth, (45) was last seen around 1400 hours on the Tuesday on the footbridge between McGregor Road and Hillcrest Court.

He is described as 5ft10, of slim build, with sallow skin and light brown cropped hair. He also has blue eyes and stubble, a slight scar on the right side of his face and a pierced left ear.

When Paul was last seen he was wearing a dark coloured hooded top, jeans, white trainers and a beanie hat. He also walks with a slight limp.

Inspector Phil Rose from Cumbernauld Police Office said: “It is out of character for Paul to go missing like this and his friends and family are extremely worried about him.

“He frequents the Seafar and town centre areas of Cumbernauld.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen him over the past week weeks to come forward.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
