Cumbernauld party got out of hand

A 17-year- old girl who resisted calls to turn down the noise at a party in Glenhove Road has been dealt with by police.

Neighbours complained about noise levels from the girl’s home on Tuesday night - and police went round to warn her.

She failed to heed that warning and police were forced to return at 12.40am on Wednesday to caution and charge her.

The incident will be the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.
