Did you witness this serious assault in Kilsyth?

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 25-year old man fell prey to a serious assault in Kilsyth - and was found wounded by passers-by in Main Street.

Officers were contacted by members of the public around 3.25pm yesterday (Thursday) after the victim was found with “visibly serious injuries.”

It is thought that the man was set upon in a nearbly property but that the culprit had made off before the police arrived.

The officers also stressed that they may be looking for more than one individual in this case.

The injured male was taken to hospital where his condition is described as stable.
