Driver caught in Newton Mearns had altered car’s plates
Checks on a driver and his vehicle stopped in Newton Mearns revealed the registration plates had been deliberately altered and he had no insurance.
The car was stopped on Ayr Road by police officers patrolling during lockdown.
He’s just one of a number of drivers pulled over by officers for checks in recent days.
