The males, who are from the Paisley and Rutherglen areas and are in their 30s were alleged to be in possession of an offensive weapon. They have also been accused of an alleged drugs offence.
Officers stress that the area was searched over the weekend purely in relation to this arrest as officers continued their investigation surrounding the two men.
