A second incident took place in Larkhall’s Machan Road involving an Audi - and officers have now revealed that the model was a A5.

They have now stated that a Range Rover parked in the same driveway was also damaged.

Fortunately nobody was hurt in either incident.

Enquiries carried out so far indicate the incidents were targeted and officers are not ruling out that they could be linked.

Officers have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries for any additional information.

“I am appealing to local residents in these areas to contact us with any information they may have,

“ If anyone has private CCTV footage or dash cam footage, I would ask them to check the footage as they could have captured information which could assist our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to call CID officers at Airdrie Police Station via 101, quoting incident numbers 3561 and 3447.
