Man arrested after disturbance yesterday evening (Tuesday) in Kirkintilloch town centre
A man has been arrested after police were called out to a disturbance yesterday evening at Kirkintilloch town centre.
Officers responded to a number of complaints about the disturbance at various locations in the main street around 6.20pm.
A police spokesperson said that a 21-year-old man was arrested and taken into police custody in connection with the incident.
It is alleged he was in possession of an offensive weapon.
