Man charged in connection with £2,500 worth of bogus work at Lenzie property

A man has been arrested after allegedly ripping off a Lenzie family of £2,500 as a result of bogus work.

The 35-year-old was charged by police after an investigation into the alleged fraud, which began in August.

The bogus work involves a property at Gallowhill Avenue.

East Dunbartonshire Police tweeted: “Your local #Skipjack bogus crime team have made another arrest today. 35 year old male will be kept custody to appear in court after investigation into £2500 fraud at a property in Lenzie.”
