Pair arrested after suspcious conduct spied in Motherwell car park

A call which raised a flag about the suspicious conduct of two males in Aldi’s car park in Motherwell has led to the discovery of drugs.

CCTV images were seen of the pair around 8.45pm on Sunday, October 25 - and police were called in.

On seeing the officers, the two men made off on foot but were apprehended a short distance away.

Both males were subsequently arrested and conveyed to Motherwell Police office.

A search of the males recovered various items believed to be drugs.

A 30-year-old and 48-year-old were charged with various alleged offences including drugs-related offences and other crimes.

They were held in custody to appear at court at a later date.
