Police foiled armed burglars in Cumbernauld

Police in Cumbernauld made two arrests on Wednesday evening after being called to a house that was being broken into.

Officers rushed round to Carbrain’s Millcroft Road where a 26-year-old male and a 28-year-old male were caught in the premises

Both the men were also found to be in possession of a knife.

They were taken into custody and a court date is pending .
