Police investigating serious assault release CCTV of suspect

Police Scotland has released CCTV images of a man they wish to trace in connection with an assault in Glasgow City Centre.

The incident occurred at around 1.30am on Sunday, August 28, outside Bar Budda on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.

A 30-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being assaulted outside the bar, and required hospital treatment. Police Scotland has been continuing enquiries to trace the person responsible.

Police Scotland is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who recognises the man in the images to contact Greater Glasgow Police at Stewart Street, on 101, or alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously.
