Police issue CCTV image of a male they'd like to speak with following a southside shooting

Police Scotland are still attempting to trace a male they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries following a shooting incident in Shawlands, on Thursday, March 9.

The CCTV image shown above has been released in an effort to trace the man.

Around 8.10am on that Thursday morning, a 34-year-old man was shot in the leg outside a house in Shawhill Road, Shawlands. He was treated at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and was released shortly after.

The individual in the CCTV image is described as white, approximately 5ft 7” in height, medium to stocky build, wearing a grey beanie hat, light coloured t-shirt/polo shirt, black trousers, a mid-length dark green khaki jacket with an emblem on the sleeve and black boots.

He is seen on CCTV in Shawhill Road at the time of the incident and then towards Pollokshaws Road via Hector Road and Rossendale Road.
