Police patrols out in force after complaints over motorists speeding on Bearsden street

Speed cops are out in force in Milngavie and Bearsden after complaints of motorists driving at excessive speed in the area.

East Dunbartonshire police tweeted this morning (Wednesday): “Your officers have been addressing concerns regarding vehicles travelling at excessive speed within our area.

“Please be guarded against your speed drifting above maximum limits when roads are quieter and weather is nicer.”

There have been complaints in particular over speeding motorists on the Switchback Road at Bearsden.
