Robbers broke into family home

Police are appealing for information after terrified residents of a home in Chryston were threatened – then robbed of a four figure sum.

The incident happened around 7.50pm on Thursday February 18 at a property on Grayston Manor.

Four unidentified men entered and threatened the occupants with weapons before stealing a four figure sum of cash. The men are believed to have travelled in a burgundy Citroen Picasso which was later recovered by officers.

Detective Sergeant Lorraine Wilson, of Lanarkshire CID, said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for those involved, who although not physically hurt, have been left quite shaken.”
