Sad discovery as death near Banton Loch is confirmed by police
Police have confirmed that a sad discovery has been made at a beauty spot
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: “We received a report of a body found near Banton Loch in Kilsyth around 2.35pm on Sunday, 23 August.
“Enquiries have established the body is that of a 57-year-old man and has family has been informed.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained pending further investigation and the results of a post mortem.”
