Teen charged after £6000 playpark blaze
Police confirm they have charged a minor following an incident last month which saw new play facilities torched by a vandal.
The incident happened in Anderson Avenue in Queenzieburn in June when equipment was set on fire. Police now say that £6000 worth of damage was caused.
It has now been confirmed that a 16-year-old male who is from outwith the area has been charged in connection with the fire.
