Thief unscrews hinges of door to swipe expensive bike in Bishopbriggs

A thief in Bishopbriggs with some DIY skills broke into a garden shed and made off with an expensive bike.

The break-in happened between Tuesday afternoon and 6.30pm yesterday at Brackenbrae/Kenmure area.

The thief unscrewed the hinges of the shed door to gain access and swipe the red Carrera bike.

Its owner took to social media to warn others and appeal for information.
