Warning to Bishopbriggs residents after another expensive bike stolen

A heartless thief stole a 10-year-old Bishopbriggs boy’s Christmas bike which had been “a saviour” for him during lockdown.

The all black Carrera with blue flashes cycle was stolen from a garage at John Marshall Drive.

It was broken into between Monday, April 27 and Thursday, April 30.

His mum posted an appeal on social media.

She posted: “The bike cost a lot and is a limited edition so it is irreplaceable.”

she added: “This was a 10-year-old boy’s Christmas present.”
