Women needs hospital treatment after New Stevenston assault
Police have launched an investigation after a 23-year-old woman was seriously assaulted in Quarry Street, New Stevenston.
The incident happened at around 1am this morning (Monday) and the victim was taken by ambulance to Wishaw General and released after treatment.
The police investigation is in its early stages as they try to establish the circumstances.
