Cumbernauld bowling clubs get together to hold annual gala day

The family fun day will see members from all four Cumbernauld bowling clubs come together to raise money and have a laugh, with stalls selling home baking, face painting and putting on offer for children.

John Lafferty at the club said: “There’s going to be a big game on between all the clubs and other bowlers starting about 9am and going on till around 5 or 6pm.

“Representatives from all four clubs plus a host of other clubs will take part.

“There should be 24 teams in total.

“There will be home baking, flower stalls, putting for the kids and there will be some activities going on inside the club house for the children as well.”
