Cumbernauld Gala Day will be a grand day out thanks to Scottish Water Horizons

Cumbernauld’s biggest community event is quids in after Scottish Water Horizons donated £1000 to its committee.

Cumbernauld Gala Day which will take place on Saturday, June 21 is on a sounder financial footing as a result. Receiving the cheque are organisers Billy Lees, John King and gala princesses Karen Pullar and Aimee McConville plus gala queen Kelsey Russell. The revived town centre event with its trademark procession is co-ordinated annually by hard working volunteers from Cumbernauld Community Forum. More information on this popular town centre-based extravaganza and those involved in it will appear in upcoming editions.
