Cumbernauld group plans green survey with lotto windfall
A CUMBERNAULD environmental group has received a near-£5000 lottery windfall which will allow it to give the public a say on how green spaces can be maximised for the good of the town.
Friends of Cumbernauld Community Park have been granted the cash – £4980 – via the Big Lottery Fund’s Investing in Ideas initiative.
The organisation was one of just 10 Scottish recipients of an award through the scheme.
