Cumbernauld woman sees hell of Haiti first-hand

A LOCAL woman who helped out in earthquake-torn Haiti has spoken of her shock at conditions people are living in.

Fiona Kenny and husband Lawrence spent a week in the Caribbean country to help with the building of a new hospital wing.

This week Fiona tells of the scenes of devastation she witnessed in Haiti, where among the hazards people have to endure include the threat of cholera as clean water is in short supply.
