Dalziel pupils set to arrive bearing gifts
Dalziel High School pupils going on an educational trip to Germany in November 1998 received presents from John Scott, head of the Supercounty civic pride campaign, ahead of their visit to the former East german sector of Berlin.
Pupils Madeleine Houston, Jennifer Johnston, Susan Lafferty, Amanda Rodgers, Lorna Nicol and Lee Bisset received a bag containing a t-shirt, hat keys and pen while teachers Sandra Kilgariff and Val Jones were given umbrellas.
