Dementia Cafe cancelled due to maintenance work

The community mental health team look forward to seeing everyone again in October

The meeting at Fir Park in Motherwell has been postponed for one month, but will be back as normal on the first Friday in October (October 7).

NHS Lanarkshire community nurse Hazel Boyle said: “Due to some maintenance work, we’ve had to cancel the café for September.

“We apologise for this, but would like to reassure everyone that things will be back to normal in October.”

The monthly café is for people who have a diagnosis of dementia and those with concerns about their memory, it provides a friendly setting where patients, their families and informal carers can gather to share their experiences and get some practical support.
