An update to the original police appeal for information on her disappearance was published in this week’s Extra.

Diane had been taking daily medication after two recent bereavements when her mother and ex-partner died in the past year.

Detective inspector Brian Dodd said: “The results of the post mortem reveal that there are no obvious suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

“However, a full investigation is ongoing to clarify the circumstances which led to her being at a disused building in Springburn.

“It is more than five weeks since she was last seen and our inquiries will be focussing on what led her to the rx-Motor Bike Training Centre, when did she go there, how did she get into the premises.

“We need answers to these questions and would appeal to the public for help

“I know there have been media appeals for information, but I would again like to speak to anyone who saw Diane since she was last seen on Monday, April 2.

“Did anyone see her at the unit in Cowlairs Road?

“Does anybody have information which may assist our investigation?

“Any person with information is asked to contact the CID at Baird Street on telephone number 0141 532 4116.

“Alternatively, telephone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained”.
