According to figures from mortgage lender The Halifax, East Dunbartonshire is the most affordable district to live in the UK with an average property price of £97,089.

A spokesperson for the programme said: “The area’s low crime rates and proximity to jobs in Glasgow makes East Dunbartonshire an attractive option for young buyers.

“We would love to hear from people who live in East Dunbartonshire such as primary and secondary school teachers who own their own home and commute to Glasgow for work. They should enjoy a good work/life balance and be keen to talk up East Dunbartonshire as the great place to live that it is!”

Filming will take place in early November 2016 and would take around a day and a half.
