DOBBIES Garden Centre in Cumbernauld’s Westerwood, is hosting a Big Garden Party on Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19, from 11am to 4pm, a free extravaganza celebrating all things great about the glorious summer predicted this year.

Following the success of the inaugural 2010 event, the Dobbies Big Garden Party will now take place over a full weekend and includes a summer barbecue, garden games, free children’s entertainers, garden demonstrations, strawberry fayre and live music.

May Rankin, Dobbies community champion in Westerwood, said: “We’ve organised The Big Garden Party to help show people how to get the best from their gardens during the summer months and to celebrate how the garden can be transformed into a place to host your own sunniest of shindigs. We’re also excited to be creating a big summer party for all the community to come along and enjoy.”
