The workshops are packed with stimulating games and activities to help kids discover the wonders of their back garden. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

In July, kids can decorate colourful pebbles for the garden and design eye-catching twig pots. There will also be prizes for the little ones in a game of Beach Bingo. In August, budding gardeners can sow salad crops and decorate as they make a mini kite to fly in the garden. To round off the holidays, club goers will join in the Olympic inspired sports day at Sidney’s Summer Games.

Rachael Faulds, community champion from Dobbies Milngavie, said: “Keeping the kids entertained all summer long can be a challenge for parents so our Little Seedlings Holiday Club is the perfect solution. Not only will they love getting their hands dirty, it’s also a great opportunity for parents or guardians to spend some quality time with their little ones. We’re expecting the workshops to be extremely popular and would encourage anyone interested to book well in advance.”
