In a welcome boost for the Carluke-based charity the Sandyholm garden centre will carry out a series of activities to raise vital cash for the Foundation, which helps children with life-threatening illness by giving them the chance to meet their heroes.
In fact the fundraising has already begun with a range of activities over the Easter weekend at Dobbies.

Angela Cook, from the DreamMaker Foundation, said: “Everyone at the Foundation is delighted to be working with Dobbies.
“We are looking to raise £50,000 to provide a permanent holiday home for kids at a caravan park in Ayrshire so the help we will receive will be invaluable.
“The Easter weekend was excellent and we had some of the kids down at Dobbies; we all had a great time.”
Among the fundraising activities planned by Dobbies is a charity cycle ride from the Clyde Valley to Carlisle totalling nearly 90 miles.
