Dream come true for Hannah Archibald

SIX-YEAR-OLD Hannah Archibald has just returned from a trip of a lifetime – visiting Santa in Lapland.

Hannah, who has Sturge-Weber Syndrome which caused severe

epilepsy in the first three years of her life, met Father Christmas while with mum Donna, dad Mark and big brother Jack.

The trip was organised by children's charity Starlight, which helps grant wishes to seriously ill and terminally ill children.

For Hannah it was a trip of a lifetime and, with just a few days to go before Christmas, the unique opportunity to give Santa her Christmas list in person.

Mum Donna said: "It was such a fantastic experience for Hannah.

"We flew out on December 15 and were met at Oslo Airport by an elf, who took us to Lapland.

"When we met Santa it wasn't just for five or 10 minutes. He spent a lot of time with her.

"And after that we all went sledging together, which was actually filmed for a Norwegian television show."
