Dress for Depression fundraiser success

The trio held a Dress for Depression evening at Eaglesham Bowling Club, with 100 new/once worn dresses shown off and auctioned in aid of the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH).

The event — sponsored by Catherine’s of Partick — raised an impressive £1,600.

Co-organiser Martin Connelly said: “Gillian McManus from SAMH said she was delighted to see the word depression in the theme, bold and loud. It made people feel comfortablefrom the 
beginning.

“In 20 years being involved in charity events, this evening was the most interactive and emotional — warmest thank yous to all who helped.”
