Everyone is welcome, including children and dogs.

The 18th century gardens, at Cleghorn Farm, Lanark, are open from 2pm until 4pm. There are mature trees and shrubs, with masses of snowdrops spread around, and visitors can enjoy beautiful views of Tinto Hill and the Cleghorn Glen.

Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a walk through the snowdrops with a cup of tea and some delicious home baking, but due to the last few months’ rain the ground is wet, so visitors should wear appropriate footwear. The parking is on hard standing.

Entry by donation, with the proceeds going to Marie Curie and the beneficiaries of Scotland’s Gardens.

The farm is two miles north of Lanark on the A706.
