Drug find in East Ren house
Police have uncovered drug plants at a private house in East Renfrewshire.
Following enquiries regarding a house in Giffnock, police discovered a number of cannabis plants growing at the house on Greenhill Avenue.
A spokesman told The Extra a 63-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man will appear at Paisley Shefiff Court this afternoon on a number of charges under the Misuse of Drugs Act (1971) after a search revealed the class B drug being culutivated at the address.
