East Ren schools triumph in ski event
Two school ski teams have tasted success on the snow at a schools tournament.
Williamwood and St Ninian’s took part in the Autumn Dual Slalom Series at the Snow Factor, Braehead.
Both came away with medals and winners’ shields – with Williamwood crowned Scottish champions in the experienced category.
The Williamwood four — Kyle Cowan, Tom Simmonds and brothers Kieran and Ross Nesbitt — will now go on to the British Schools Championship in Pontypool, Wales, later this month.
The St Ninian’s team took the novice title.
